Model Town Club in Siddiq Memorial Cricket semis

LAHORE: Model Town Club have marched into the semifinal of 18th M Siddiq Memorial Cricket Tournament when they beat Ghalib Sports by 6 wickets in the quarterfinal played at Model Town Ground on Saturday.

Fine centuries by M Saleem (Model Town Club) and Uzair Nasir (Ghalib Sports), and good bowling by Ahmed Bashir 5/43) were the highlights of the match.

Model Town Club will face Dar Academy in the semifinal. Cricket Center has already qualified for the final.

Scores: Ghalib Sports 265 all out in 39.3 Overs. Uzair Nasir 103 (4x6, 8x4), Bilal Munir 74. Ahmed Bashir 5/43, M Irfan 3/41.
