PTI leader, others join PML-Q

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Lawyers Wing Punjab President and former Chairman Provincial Election Commission Syed Shadab Jaffary and local leader Omar Zia Khan called on Pakistan Muslim League-Q senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi at his residence here Wednesday and announced joining PML-Q along with their colleagues.
Welcoming them, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that the party would benefit from their experience. He said that practical measures were required for bringing about change and he, during his tenure as chief minister, had shown this by taking revolutionary measures in the Punjab for welfare and well-being, progress and prosperity of the people. Syed Shadab Jaffary, who is former president of PTI Lahore and also ticket holder for Punjab Assembly, said that Ch Shujaat Hussain and Ch Pervaiz Elahi are such politicians who respect the worker, tenure of Pervaiz Elahi in Punjab was a golden period during this period such works were undertaken in the province which had been done in the province since creation of Pakistan till today. We as well as our colleagues will take pride in working under their leadership, he added.
