Art activities to highlight mountain tourism

The upcoming mountain festival will highlight the saga of mountains as promoting mountain products is the theme chosen for this year's celebration of International Mountain Day.
The event tilted '5th Pakistan Mountain Festival (PMF)' starting on December 6, is being organised by the partnership of various government, semi-government, national and international organizations to promote tourism, recreational and cultural activities in federal city.
PMF is an annual event founded by the Development Communications network (Devcom-Pakistan) to commemorate the UN International Mountain Day that is celebrated on 11 December every year. The PMF Festival Director, Munir Ahmad said, the Mountain Day has been observed every year to create awareness about the importance of mountains to life.
