The people of Punjab never welcomed invaders renowned poet-cum-writer Azhar Munir argued this in his paper on Punjab. During a special session of Halqa-e-Arbab-e-Zaoq at Awwan-e-Iqbal, Azhar argued quoting historical facts, and culture ancestry. Hafeez Tahir, Amir Fraz, Mirza Hamid Beg, Snawar Chadhar, Ibad Nabil Shad, Husen Mjruh, Nasir Baloch and others appreciated his arguments.
