Votes recount upholds win

MALAKWAL: Votes recount of ward No 11 Municipal Committee Malakwal Friday upheld win of an independent candidate.
Independent candidate Habib-ur-Rehman Bhatti defeated the PML-N candidate Muhammad Yusuf Dhool by 7 votes on November 19.
Dhool submitted a recount application with the office of Returning Officer Asif Raza.
On Friday the RO recounted the votes in the presence of both the candidates. In the recount Bhatti got 436 votes and Yusuf 425.
