CPO assures traders of complete security

MULTAN: City Police Officer Azhar Akram Monday assured traders that a complete security would be provided to them.
Talking to a delegation of Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry led by its President Mian Fareed Mughis’A Sheikh, the CPO said crime rate has fallen considerably as compared to last year. He said police are taking all possible measures to provide secure environment to business community. The CPO said the Cantonment police station was upgraded as model station to facilitate the complainants. He asked the MCCI delegation to visit the police station and suggest steps for its improvement. He said a disputes resolution committee (DRC) would be constituted with the cooperation of Multan Chamber and business community to resolve their issues in the chamber without visiting the police stations. On the invitation of the MCCI President, the CPO promised visiting the Multan chamber very soon. Mian Ata Shafi Tanvir Sheikh, SVP, Muhammad Tariq Khan,VP, ex-presidents of Multan Chamber Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf, Khawaja Muhammad Usman, Shahid Nasim Khokhar, Mian Iqbal Hassan and Secretary General Khurram Javed were included in the delegation.
