SWABI: Religious scholars on Sunday accused the US and its allies of conspiring to damage the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
They were speaking at the concluding session of the three-day congregation organised by the Ishaat Al Tauheed Wal Sunnah in Panjpir village. The clerics said that the US would not be allowed to harm religious institutions. They accused the US and its allies of conspiring against the Muslim countries.
The Ulema and workers of Ishaat Al Tauheed Wal Sunnah from all over the country attended the gathering. They spoke about the Islamic teachings and the problems being confronted by the Muslim world.
Speaking on the occasion, the Ishaat Al Tauheed Wal Sunnah head Maulana Tayyab said the US was conspiring to harm Saudi Arabia. He said the US and its allies were colluding to weaken Muslim countries.
He said that Makkah and Madina were sacred places for the Muslims and nobody would be allowed to cause any harm to these cities. “I assured the Saudi government that the leaders and workers of Ishaat Al Tauheed Wal Sunnah are ready to sacrifice their lives for the protection of holy places in Saudi Arabia,” he said.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman Khalil, who headed the Harkatul Ansar in the past, said the US and its allies were killing the Muslims and were plotting to divide the Ummah. He alleged that the US invaded Afghanistan to topple the Taliban regime that had established Shariah and restored peace in the war-ravaged country. “The US staged the 9/11 attacks to remove the true Islamic government of the Taliban,” he maintained.
Major (Retd) Muhammad Aamir, former official of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and brother of Maulana Tayyab, said the US declared various Muslim leaders terrorists, but it never talked about the head of the Shiv Sena, who was responsible for the killing of Muslims. He said Israel had been committing atrocities against peaceful Palestinians, but the US didn’t designate the Jewish state a terrorist entity.
