PPP to re-emerge as strong political force: Rahimdad
Activists want steps to boost party in Hazara

ABBOTTABAD: Former provincial minister and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Rahimdad Khan Thursday said that the party would re-emerge as strong political force under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the country.
Addressing workers convention here, the PPP leader assured the workers that the party would emerge as a formidable force in the next election in the country.Deputy General Secretary PPP, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr Adnan Bashir and Pakistan People’s Party local president Sardar Abrar Ahmed and other local PPP leaders were present on the occasion.
The party workers on the occasion shared their views and ideas about strengthening the party in the region. They bitterly criticised the PPP leadership and held it responsible for the downfall of the party.
They also blasted the party provincial president for not undertaking visit to the Hazara division. “I will quit the office if the party leadership did not take steps to strengthen the party in the region,” said Dr Adnan Bashir.
The workers also appealed to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to take measures to save the party from the prevailing chaos. Rahimdad tried to soothe the angry workers and assured that he would convey their grievances to the chairperson.
He criticize the KP government and said that it had failed to provide basic necessities to the masses. He also came down hard on the Nawaz Sharif- led federal government for its failure to deliver.
“The country relations with Afghanistan, India and Iran were far better during the PPP government as compared to present situation,” he maintained.
