Islamabad The Park Enclave housing scheme will be completed with special focus on making it an environment-friendly project. These views were expressed by Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Maroof Afzal during his visit to the CDA’s housing project, Park Enclave. Member Administration and Estate, Amer Ali Ahmed, Member Engineering, Shahid Sohail, Project Director Park Enclave, and officers of concerned formations of the authority were also present. The CDA chairman was briefed about the progress of ongoing development work in Park Enclave. He was apprised that development work on Park Enclave is in full swing, adding that all available resources including manpower, heavy machinery are being utilized to complete the housing project. He was apprised that construction work on main road from Park Road to Park Enclave has been completed and construction work on central gate of the housing project has been initiated at accelerated pace, which would be completed in next few days. As far as the availability of uninterrupted water supply to the allottees of Park Enclave is concerned, the CDA chairman was informed that work on installation of two out of four tube-wells has been completed, while the installation of two other tube-wells is in progress. Civil work including construction of sewerage drainage systems, construction of vehicular roads and service roads and footpaths etc has been expedited for early completion, the chairman was informed. He was further apprised that streetlights would be installed on main road from Park Road to Park Enclave in first phase, while in the second phase, work on installation of streetlights in Park Enclave would be completed.
