Youth shot dead in Kohat

KOHAT: A youth was shot dead over a petty dispute in Shakardara area in Kohat district on Thursday.
The police said that accused Attiqur Rahman, a resident of Dhondoka, opened fire on Inamullah after exchange of harsh words with him. As a result, he sustained critical injuries and later succumbed to his wounds in hospital. The accused fled the scene after committing the crime. However, the police later arrested him along with the pistol used in the crime. The police have registered a case and began investigation. Meanwhile, the Kohat police seized a huge cache of narcotics, including Ice and charas, and arrested two inter-district smugglers along with their car.
