Two killed, four injured during three days of Eid
Two man were killed while four others injured in separate incidents during the three days of Eid in the city.
A man was shot dead inside his house in the Korangi area. The body was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for an autopsy. According to Awami Colony SHO Humayun Khan, some unidentified persons entered the house and shot the man twice, killing him on the spot. Khan lived alone in the house. The police said the motive behind the killing was yet to be ascertained.
The body of a man was found in the bushes in Zaibu Goth. According to Manghopir SHO Gul Muhammad Awan, the body was around five days old and the cause of the death was yet to be ascertained.
In another incident, seven-month-old Ahmed, son of Hassan, was shot and injured in a firing incident in Orangi Town. He was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment.
An elderly man was wounded in a firing incident in Baldia Town’s Gulshan-e-Ghazi. Police said that the injured man was identified as 60-year-old Mehboob.
Moreover, 24-year-old Abdul Wahab, son of Abdul Waheed, was wounded in a firing incident that took place in New Karachi. The injured was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment. A 30-year-old man, Tariq Allah Dino, was wounded in a firing incident in the Aziz Bhatti police precincts. He was taken to the JPMC for medical treatment.
