Bannu residents flay excessive gas loadshedding
BANNU: Condemning the excessive gas loadshedding, the residents of Bannu city and rural areas on Sunday threatened to stage a protest rally against the government and high-ups of the concerned department.
“The people of entire district are faced with excessive gas loadshedding and low pressure, which has multiplied the plights of the residents, particularly womenfolk to prepare meal on time in this holy month of Ramazan,” Sikandar Hayat Khan, the tehsil president of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and former city nazim Raheel Islam told reporters here. They alleged that the gas authorities in Bannu district were observing unscheduled loadshedding of the utility in Ramazan, which had created a host of problems for the people during iftar and sehr. They threatened that the people of Sokri Jabbar and other areas would stage rally today (Monday) after iftar if the issues of gas loadshedding and low pressure were solved forthwith.
