Elderly man, minor injured

An elderly man and a minor boy were injured in a firing incident at their house in the Sherpao Colony in Landhi on Sunday. According to police, the injured were taken to a nearby hospital for medical treatment. The injured were 65-year-old Ali Akbar and 10-year-old Munib. Police said the actual nature of the incident was yet to be ascertained. However, the family members told police that the incident took place while the cleaning of a gun.

Separately, two robbers riding a motorcycle snatched Rs2.3 million from a dairy farmer, namely Kashif, at his dairy farm in the Bhens Colony area in Sukkan. Police said a case had been registered and an investigation was under way.
