Portraits of 108 martyrs displayed

Rawalpindi : To commemorate the sacrifices of the martyrs of Rawalpindi police, portraits of 108 martyred soldiers of Rawalpindi police were displayed at walls of Police Lines Headquarters.

CPO Rawalpindi DIG Muhammad Ahsan Younis while paying homage to the martyred police officials of Rawalpindi displayed portraits of soldiers martyred in the line of duty in last 70 years.

108 portraits of the martyred soldiers have been displayed at the walls of Police Lines to pay homage to them.

Decision on part of CPO Rawalpindi to display portraits of police martyrs is being lauded as recognition of these martyrs.

Details relating date and palace of martyrs are also inscribed with portraits of the martyred police officials.

Public will come to know about martyrs of police force through this undertaking and it will also boost prestige of the families of police martyrs.

CPO Rawalpindi DIG Muhammad Ahsan Younis said that martyred policemen are pride for Rawalpindi police and their services will be remembered and their families will not be left alone.
