Family quarantined as trader tests Covid-19 positive
TAKHTBHAI: The residence of a known businessman was declared quarantine after he reported positive for the coronavirus test in Chaman Killay in Takhtbhai tehsil on Tuesday.
Traders’ leader Haji Muhammad Yousaf was suffering from chest pain and severe fever from the last two days. He was taken to the Al-Shifa Hospital in Islamabad where he diagnosed with the Covid-19 test. The trader was later admitted to the isolation ward of the hospital for medical treatment.
Upon this, the medical team and local administration officials including Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Takhtbhai, Medical Superintendent Dr Kachkol Khan and Assistant Commissioner Aneela Fahim rushed to the residence of infected businessman and locked it down. The entire family members were quarantined at their home and blocked all the exit and entry gates of the residence.
