Locality lockdown in Mohmand after two COVID-19 cases

GHALLANAI: The entire locality was locked down after two positive cases of coronavirus emerged in Khajawas area in Mian Mandi in Mohmand district on Saturday.
Taking prompt action, Ghallanai Assistant Commissioner Hamid Iqbal along with a heavy contingent of police and other law enforcers rushed to Khajawas area and clamped lockdown in the Mullayano Mohallah after the Covid-19 cases surfaced. The official said that the step was taken to contain the spread of fast-travelling viral infection. He said that the locality was declared a quarantine for 15 days and the entry and exit of people had been strictly banned to prevent the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
