Karo-Kari claims life of woman

SUKKUR: Karo Kari claimed the life of a woman, while a girl commited suicide on Monday. Reports said that in village Ali Muhammed Machi in the limits of Serhad Police Station of Ghotki, accused Meer Ahmed Machi gunned down his daughter-in-law Zamira, w/o Shabbir Ahmed, by declaring her Kari with a policeman Qadeer Ahmed Lakhani. Police shifted the body to hospital and said that the husband of the victim was a labourer in Saudi Arabia. Reports said that in village Baghan Khan Bijarani in Karampur, a married girl Paras, w/o Siraj Bijarani, killed herself in the house of her father over a domestic issue.
