Special persons protest against unfair distribution of ration
SUKKUR: Disabled persons gathered at the DC Office, Sukkur, on Monday where they protested and staged a sit in, accusing district management of Sukkur of ignoring them in distribution of ration. They alleged that ration was being distributed only on the basis of political reference. Moreover, women along with their children of the Katchi Abadi of Rohri came out of their homes during the lockdown and protested in the streets of PPP parliamentarians of Sukkur for ration.
They said they were under the lockdown for the last 24 days but were not getting any ration. Also, a large number of deserving women reached the Ehsaas Kafalat Centre in Gharo but found their names missing from the list. They blocked the Ketty Bandar-Gharho Road in Thatta for four hours and broke windscreens of the many vehicles with stones and sticks.
