‘Rs 183m distributed among 15,324’

LAHORE:District Administration Lahore is ensuring quick disbursement of cash under Ehsas Kifalat Programme to the registered beneficiaries and it has disbursed Rs 183 millions among 15,324 beneficiaries.
DC Danish Afzal said the process of cash disbursement is not slow and it will not take two to three months as presumed by some quarters. Moreover, DC Danish Afzal chaired a meeting to review the process of chlorination in the city. The meeting was attended by CO MCL, CPRO MCL and officers of Wasa. DC Lahore was briefed that more than 3,800 spots covering the area of 639km have been chlorinated and this process is continuing.
