64 POs held

DI KHAN: About 64 proclaimed offenders have been arrested and arms and drugs seized during the month of March, a police spokesman said on Wednesday. He said the police conducted 29 search operations and crackdowns in the city, Paharpur, Kulachi and Parova circles during the month, in which 2 Kalashnikovs, 2 Kalakovs, 13 rifles, 40 guns and 56 pistols of different bores and 1,374 cartridges were recovered. He said the law enforcers also recovered 38.931kg hashish, 1.455 grams heroin, 158 grams ice and 16 bottles of liquor from the arrestees.
