HARIPUR: Regional Police Officer Qazi Jamilur Rehman has asked the policemen to work selflessly with local health authorities in the fight against the corona pandemic.
He was speaking to policemen deployed at different quarantine centres of Haripur district. The RPO visited the quarantines for examining the health and security facilities arranged for the patients and suspects.
He was briefed about the security arrangements and the healthcare facilities arrangements. The RPO said that the country was passing through war-like situation following the outbreak of corona viral pandemic.
He said that it was incumbent on all the departments and the citizens especially to join hands with the government in its fight against the pandemic. Meanwhile, the central president of Pakistan Falah Party PFP, Prof Qazi Atiqur Rehman, said that scores of citizens of Pakistan were deprived of their basic rights and the ruler were the only class who could not be absolved of the responsibility and they must seek forgiveness from the public first.
This he said through a statement issued to local media here on Friday. He said that the process of seeking forgiveness must start from the Prime Minister’s House and President’s House and the people across the country should follow them.
According to the ministry’s spokesperson, this matter was never included in the cabinet’s agenda
