Nowshera hawkers appeal for relief package

NOWSHERA: The Hawkers Association of Nowshera on Tuesday demanded the government to announce a special relief package for them in the present difficult situation arising out of the coronavirus crisis. Sher Zaman, president and Haider Ali, general secretary of the association, in a joint statement said newspaper hawkers had been highly affected by the present situation along with other professions. They said most of the newspapers supplies has been suspended and it is next to nil even if the delivery is functional in some cases. The hawkers body representatives said they were finding it hard to earn a two-time meal for the families.
