Islamabad: The Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan (AKFP) so far has distributed food and dry ration worth Rs232.6 million among people across the country.
In a statement on Tuesday, the AKFP President Muhammad Abdus Shakoor said the foundation despite lockdown was continuing distribution of cooked food and dry ration among deserving people particularly daily wagers and labour class.
He said the AKFP so far has distributed food among 58,000 people and ration among over 76,000 deserving families who have lost their livelihood due to pandemic of COVID-19. He pointed out that the situation was being faced people from all walks of life but it were daily wagers were most affected segment of the society.
