FAISALABAD: On the directions of Commissioner Ishrat Ali, the Divisional Control Room has been set up at the Commissioner Office to provide necessary information about the coronavirus situation. The coronavirus control room would be functional 24 hours in three shifts where phone number 041-9201716 and fax number 041-9201709 would be available. The commissioner said that Assistant Commissioner Revenue Tariq Mehmood Gondal with other supporting staff would be present from 8am to 4pm in the first shift, Assistant Commissioner General Qaisar Javed and the staff in the second shift from 4pm to 10pm while Superintendent General Jamil Ahmed Bajwa and other staff would be on duty in the next shift. He directed the all officers to fully aware of the situation regarding coronavirus.

SHOPKEEPERS FINED: Food DD Sardar Saifullah checked the availability and prices of flour in various markets and shops and imposed Rs 33,000 fine on shopkeepers for overcharging. The inspection team of the Food Department imposed Rs 10,000 fine on a flour grinding mill at Sarfraz Colony, Rs 10,000 on a shopkeeper at Dera Saiyan Ghulam Muhammadabad, Rs 3,000 on a shopkeeper at Peoples Colony No 2 Fawara Chowk and Rs 6,000 on a shopkeeper for overcharging.
