LAHORE:Noted scholar of Iqbal Studies, Urdu language and literature Prof Dr Baseera Ambareen has been appointed as the director of Iqbal Academy Pakistan.
According to a press release, earlier Dr Baseera Ambareen was serving as a professor of Urdu at Oriental College, Punjab University. She was also holding the prominent Iqbal Studies Chair of PU. She has numerous books and writings on various topics of Urdu literature and Iqbaliat on her credit.
The newly-appointed Iqbal Academy Pakistan Director Dr Baseera Ambareen has expressed commitment towards promotion of Iqbal’s message in a befitting manner and also assured that the eminent institution would continue the research and publications with a great zeal.
