DGTO grants extension

LAHORE: Directorate General of Trade Organization (DGTO) has given a month’s extension in the deadline for the renewal of membership of trade organisations in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to a notification issued on Tuesday, DGTO Deputy Director Moin Ahmed said, “In light of COVID-19 pandemic, the date for renewal of membership of all trade organisations is hereby extended from March 31, 2020 to April 30, 2020.”
Earlier, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) had announced the extension in the renewal of the membership fee. The LCCI, in consultation with the DGTO had made the announcement as the its members were asking for extension in membership renewal date due to the coronavirus spread in the city.
