Four booked for stealing oil from Parco pipeline

FAISALABAD: Thikriwala police have registered a case against four accused on the charge of stealing oil from Parco pipeline.

Police spokesman said here on Wednesday that Security Officer Parco Major (r) Rauf Badar filed a complaint, contending that some accused stolen heavy quantity of oil from Parco pipeline by fixing clump in it near a brick kiln house at Chak 64-JB.

On this complaint, the police registered a case against accused, including kiln owner Arshad Ali, and started investigation.

Encroachments removed: The Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) has removed encroachments and sealed illegal shops in various parts of the city here.

The FDA spokesman told here Wednesday that after receiving complaints, the FDA team under supervision of Estate Officer Imtiaz Goraya took action against encroachers and removed encroachments from Katchi Abadis Nasir Abad and Christian Town Eidgah Road. The team also sealed illegal shops in Iron Market D-Type Colony and Ahmad Nagar Chak 225-RB.

The FDA authorities warned the encroachers and illegal developers to avoid from violating law, otherwise, they would be sent behind the bars, spokesman added.
