Four Pakistani students are confirmed to have been infected by the coronavirus as per the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza. The number of those infected in China and abroad is rising at an alarming rate. Many countries like Japan and America have already started the evacuation of their nationals from China.
On the other hand, in Pakistan, we are showered with flowery words without any positive actions. Imagine the mental state of the parents whose children are in Wuhan in pursuit of their higher education. The government should immediately send chartered planes to Wuhan to evacuate our citizens. Our students should not be left at the mercy of this deadly virus.
