Dacoit killed, two accomplices arrested in Sialkot encounter
SIALKOT: A dacoit was killed and his two accomplices were arrested during an encounter with police near Canal City in the limits of Uggoki police station on Wednesday night. The police signaled some suspects on motorcycles at a checkpost, but they did not stop. To it, the police started chasing them. Seeing the police, the bikers opened fire at them. The police also returned the fire. As a result, one of the motorcyclists was killed on the spot while the police managed to arrest two accused. However, two others succeeded to escape. The killed suspect was identified as Pitras Masih and two arrested as Sikandar and Sajawal. The deceased and the arrested accused were involved in several cases of dacoity. The police have registered a case against the accused persons and started investigation.
