Traffic awareness camp
LAHORE: The Atlas Honda and Aipsev International arranged a traffic awareness camp Tuesday at the Institute of Public Health. Dean, Institute of Public Health, Dr Zarfashan Tahir, social activist Khalid Farooq, Ali Nawaz and Tasleem Shuja delivered lectures regarding following of traffic rules to the trainee doctors. Helmets were also distributed among the participants on this occasion. Addressing the participants, they said the traffic rules are meant for the betterment of the citizens and observance of these rules and regulations leads to the safety of the citizens. They stressed that the motorcyclists must wear helmets as most of the deaths occur due to head injuries in case of accidents of motorcyclists. They said helmets not only prevent head injuries, they also save the motorcyclists from throat and other infections.
