ISLAMABAD: After being appointed as Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) MD/CEO for three years by the cabinet, Shahid Salim Khan has assumed the charge on Monday, a statement said.
Khan is a petroleum engineer by profession with MS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California, USA, it added.
He has more than 36 years of diversified hands on experience in various disciplines of E&P, including HSE, petroleum engineering, drilling, production operation, community relations and community development.
Khan has worked in different capacities with the Kuwait Petroleum Exploration Company, Mari Petroleum Company, ENI Pakistan Limited (an Italian company), LASMO Oil Pakistan (London and Scottish oil company) and also Oil & Gas Development Company Ltd.
