A 30-year-old woman, who was reportedly kidnapped two days back, died at a local hospital in the City Raiwind police limits on Thursday.
She was identified as Faiza Bibi, a resident of Basti Amin Pura. She is survived by three children and a widower.Investigation Officer said that husband of the victim had lodged a complaint with police on September 02 that some accused person had kidnapped Faiza Bibi. He said that next day the victim was admitted to Civil Hospital Raiwind in a deteriorated condition. She called her neighbours from hospital saying that she had swallowed poisonous pills. Her neighbours reached there and supervised her treatment. When her condition turned critical, they shifted her to General Hospital. The victim passed away on way to General Hospital. The IO quoted the doctor at civil hospital that the victim in her statement confessed to have taken poisonous pills herself.
