Canteen sealed in DHQ Hospital Bannu

BANNU: The officials of the Food Authority sealed a canteen inside the District Headquarters Hospital Bannu, a senior official said. Talking to media, Deputy Director Zeeshan Mahsud said that acting on the public complaints, a team of the food authority headed by him raided the canteen in the District Headquarters Hospital. He said that the food items being served to the people and attendants of the patients were unhygienic, adding that the water was contaminated and tainted milk being used in making tea. The official said the operation on part of the food authority would continue in district until the malpractice of adulteration was halted. —Correspondent
