Kashmiri leaders discuss IOK situation with PM

ISLAMABAD: Former President of Azad Kashmir Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan and former Prime Minister Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, who is also president of PTI AJK, called on Prime Minister Imran Khan here on Monday and discussed the situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

The prime minister was highly appreciated for effectively projecting the Kashmir issue at the international level, particularly at the UN GA session. They also discussed matters pertaining to the preparations being made to observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 05.

Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan applauded Prime Minister Imran Khan's efforts for effectively and forcefully presenting the Kashmir dispute at the international level. Political and development matters, relating to Azad Kashmir came under discussion during the meeting.

The meeting reiterated that India would fail in its design to undermine and corner the minorities, particularly the Muslims there besides valiant Kashmiris, braving every type of cruelty at the hands of occupation forces.
