Ghazi Medical College students sets up protest camp

DERA GHAZI KHAN: Students of the Ghazi Medical College staged a demonstration against non-registration of the college with the PMDC.
The students set up a protest camp at the college main gate and chanted slogans against the authorities, demanding immediate affiliation of the college.
Talking to newsmen, they vowed to continue the protest till the registration of the college with the PMDC. The students alleged that the lobbies in the PMDC were delaying the registration intentionally. They said that some of the private medical colleges established after the Ghazi Medical College had been affiliated with the PMDC. The college is fully equipped with the senior faculty and the latest laboratories according to the PMDC standards, the students added. They said that some elements were creating hurdles in timely affiliation without caring about the career of the students, who are now going to appear in the final professional examinations.
