Woman injured in armed attack dies in hospital

LAHORE: A woman expired in a hospital on Monday, two days after she and her husband were shot at and wounded by four armed men in their house in Ichhara. The victim was identified as wife of Adnan Ali of Fazlia Colony, Ichhara. The accused Hussain Shah, Mani Shah and two accomplices made their forced entry into the house of Adnan Ali two days back and shot at and wounded him and his wife. The accused had nursed a grudge against Adnan over an issue of auto spare parts. The injured couple was admitted to hospital where Adnan’s wife died. Body was shifted to morgue.
