Man held for torture

South Cantt police arrested a man who brutally tortured a citizen in broad daylight and trained his pistol at him. Lahore police took notice of the incident after the video went viral on social media. The accused, Aqeel Mirza, subjected Gulshan Shahzad of College Road Baghbanpura to severe torture in broad daylight. He repeatedly kicked in the face of the victim and later whipped out his pistol to harass him for hitting his vehicle from behind. Regrettably, nobody dared to intercept the accused to forbid him from committing the inhuman act as he was armed and infuriated. On the other hand, the police did not handcuff the accused Aqeel but provided him relief up to his status. The accused was arrested from State Life Housing Society.
