Students protest

LAHORE:A large number of Islami Jamiat Talaba (IJT) activists held a rally at Punjab University (PU) Friday against the killing of one of their fellows at the at International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) the other day.
The Jamiat activists also offered funeral prayers for the late Syed Tufail ont the New Campus. A police contingent was already deployed at the university to avoid any untoward situation. Meanwhile, dozens of IJT activists from the nearby Govt College of Science, Wahdat Road also blocked the main road outside the college near Behkewal Morr and protested against the incident. They demanded stern action against those involved in the killing.
