KARACHI: Tabba Kidney Institute (TKI) has organised three-day International advance training course namely “Intensive Course in Laparoscopic and Reconstructive Urology.
In this Session, surgeons and trainers from Germany, the United Kingdom, Romania, Turkey and Austria have participated. This event provided tremendous learning opportunities for young urologists. The masterclasses consisted of multiple learning platforms including lectures.
This course is certified by Jinnah Sindh Medical University and the University of Karachi. It is also endorsed by European Association of Urology (EAU) and Department of Medical Education of College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) also awarding CME hours.
The vision behind arranging this intensive course is that the hard pathway of going abroad and learning at various overseas centers which cannot be followed by hundreds of other training residents due to various reasons can now have the chance to learn the tips and tricks of this trade in their very own country.
It is time that we invite international faculty to come to our wonderful homeland to teach our young urologists.****
