DUBAI: President of Dubai Diplomat Business Club and former ambassador Javed Malik said Pakistani women are bringing honour to country by their hard work and dedication.
He said this during a special ceremony to honour Pakistani Dr Sarah Saeed Khurram, who was awarded the Rolex Enterprise Award as an associate laureate at an impressive ceremony in Dubai.
The Rolex Awards forms part of Rolex Perpetual Planet initiative, supporting individuals seeking to find solutions to humankind’s most pressing challenges.
Dr Sarah Saeed was recognised for helping to reach thousands of patients in her country’s medically under-served communities by connecting them with home-based female doctors via an innovative, low-cost, tele-medicine (e-health) network.
