PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has directed to stop work on bicycle track of the Bus Rapid Transit in Sardar Garhi.
Owner of a filling station has moved the PHC against the cycle track of the BRT in Sardar Garhi. He stated that the service road had already been narrowed from 16 feet to 8 feet due to the BRT while there is no need of the bicycle track in the area.
The petitioner added that the track and other construction work on the BRT had affected the business of the filling station. The court while issuing a stay order directed the authorities concerned to submit comments on the next hearing.
