The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced annual results of Matriculation, FA, ATTC, PTC, CT and B.Ed programmes, which are available on its website (www.aiou.edu.pk).
The results have been placed on the website so tha-t students have no difficulty in gettin-g admissions in the next class, said the controller examinations.
Web-based computerised provisional certificates are issued to students within two days of announcement of results.
AIOU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Shahid Siddiqui, while presiding over a meeting, has assured that the results of all classes, including BA, would be announced well before the last date of the ongoing admissions -- September 4. It was decided that results of university’s students in any programme would not be a hindrance in taking admissions in the next class.
The announcement of the examination results, including that of master's level, has been expedited to facilitate students in continuation of their studies. The Matriculation, FA, ATTC, PTC, CT and B.Ed results were announced last week, while the result of BA would be announced by August 31.
Students have been advised to contact the controller examinations in case of any complaint with regard to results or next admission for continuation of their studies.
The vice chancellor has directed the concerned staff that they should take extra care in meeting the academic requirements of students, including availability of textbooks and timely announcement of results.
