Toll money

There are several toll plazas in different cities of Pakistan, apart from the motorways. At most of the toll plazas, the

operators receiving money don’t provide receipts after receiving money, and vehicles are allowed to go. Where does this money go?

There seems to be no system/SOP on toll plazas. In addition, millions of rupees are collected on a daily basis. They are supposed to be spent on repair and construction of new roads but one can’t see such action and instead roads requiring repairs remain unattended for several months and even minor repairs are not done in a timely manner. This causes discomfort for the commuters. Can the authorities concerned look into this critical issue and take prompt action to create a transparent system.
