Two children get cochlear implants with PBM’s support
Islamabad: In a ceremony held here in CDA Hospital, the batteries have been activated into the cochlear implants of two children who were got successfully operated one month before.
Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) Aon Abbas Buppi, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Khan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on CDA Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan and Executive Director CDA Hospital Dr. Mahmood Ashraf were the prominent dignitaries among the participants.
Addressing the ceremony, Ali Muhammad expressed his enthusiasm for a continued support for the vulnerable children of the country. He further added that the passion of Managing Director PBM is highly commendable who took this task as a challenge and eliminated the barrier of limited financial resources through a flourishing fund raising campaign.
SAPM on CDA affairs, in his speech expressed his enthusiasm to be part of PBM team to serve the deprived persons. He also reaffirmed the Government’s commitment for taking concrete measures to rehabilitate the deprived persons. Minister of State for Parliamentary Ali Muhammad Khan gave A’zaan in the children’s ears. Accessory boxes of cochlear implants were also presented to the parents.
