Prime Minister Imran Khan has hinted at some conspiracy behind the price hike of food items. Normally, prices do shoot up during Ramazan but after Eid there is a reversal of the inclining spiral. Also, the price of one or two items sometimes increases gradually in a few weeks.
Recently, the prices of essential food items have jumped mani-fold. A proper investigation could have unearthed any hidden agenda behind this matter. But one wonders how the provincial government would have remained oblivious to any such alleged conspiracy while it was being hatched.
