KARACHI: Ghulam Mustafa Bashir failed to qualify for the finals of 25 metre rapid fire pistol event in the ISSF World Cup for Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun in Gabala, Azerbaijan, on Wednesday.
He scored 287 (99, 96, 92) in the stage one on Tuesday and 291 (96, 100, 95) in the stage two on Wednesday.
His total score was 578 and he stood 16th.
Five shooters of the country participated in this last world cup of the season but none of them qualified for the finals of their respective categories.
Minhal Sohail and Zeeshan-ul-Farid participated in 10m air rifle event, while Usman Chand and Khurrum Inam took part in skeet-125 event.
