Scores of students and their families were seen outside the office of the Board for Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Tuesday trying to have issues regarding the latest results addressed.
A week after results for matriculation examinations were announced, hundreds of students flooded the office of the BSEK, claiming unavailability of results on the official website and gazette issued by the Board’s office.
They also protested for taking scrutiny fees, saying that the board had issued incorrect result, therefore, it was inappropriate to collect the said fees.
Meanwhile, Chairman BSEK Anwar Ahmed Zai has announced to present answer scripts of the students before the media after scrutiny. He said he himself will scrutinize the copies.
He also announced to refund the scrutiny fees if the board was held responsible for any mistake.
