Former Prime Minister of Azad Jammu Kashmir Barrister Sultan Mehmood has predicted Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s victory in the upcoming AJK polls.
Addressing a press conference Tuesday, Barrister Sultan Mehmood stated that future belonged to PTI and it had emerged as a strong political force in Azad Kashmir. Sultan Mehmood stated that without solution of the Kashmir issue, no improvement could be observed in Pak-India ties. He said it was unfortunate that during his recent meeting with Indian counterpart Modi, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif didn’t say anything about Kashmir. He stated the Pakistani nation should play its role for the solution of this dispute. He said that Kashmiris had launched their freedom struggle in a peaceful and democratic manner but the Indian atrocities, human rights violation in the region was a matter of serious concern.
