Gang involved in Banigala triple murder case busted
Six persons involved in murder cases, bank dacoities and looting people coming from abroad arrested by SIU of capital police

Special Investigation Unit (SIU) of Islamabad police has nabbed six persons involved in triple murder cases, bank dacoities and looting people coming from abroad after portraying themselves as customs or police officials, the police spokesman said.
He said that senior police officials of Islamabad police assigned the task to SP (Investigation) to ensure arrest of those involved in looting people coming from foreign countries who constituted special teams for the purpose. These teams headed by DSP (CIA) Bashir Ahmed Noon included Inspector Abdul Sattar, Sub-Inspector Tariq Rauf, assistant sub-inspectors Zulfiqat Ali, Riaz Macon, Rana Tasneem and others succeeded to bust a gang involved in looting people on return from abroad after portraying themselves as police or customs officials.
Police also recovered fake wireless sets and police caps from the criminals of this gang who have been identified as Amjad Saeed, Jasim Amjad, Amjad Maizbani and Yasir Khan.
They confessed of snatching cash from Usman Abbassi and Zubair Hussain from in Secretariat police area on June 21 and June 22, 2015 respectively who had returned from Saudi Arabia.
They committed similar dacoity in Khanna police area and snatched cash from Muhammad Saleem on pretense of his checking. Another police team managed to arrest an accused involved in triple murder case and dacoity incidents. The nabbed person Yasir Khan along with his other accomplices shot dead goldsmith, Gul Zeb, and his two gunmen in area of Bani Gala Police Station. He was involved in firing and injuring a security guard of Faysal Bank in PWD Colony during dacoity attempt on March 31, 2015. The same accused Yasir Khan was also wanted to police in dacoity incidents at Habib Bank, Swan Camp Branch on April 18, 2014 and also at National Saving Centre, Bhara Kahu on May 21, 2014.
Another police team nabbed Shahbaz who committed two dacoities in Shehzad town and one at Gulshan Al-Huda, Islamabad. Another nabbed accused Imran was wanted to police in dacoity incidents at Shehzad Town and Sihala police areas.
