LAHORE: Suspended BoG member Numan Butt’s application questioning PCB chairman’s right of appointing adjudicator has been rejected on Tuesday by the PCB chairman-appointed adjudicator.
Advocate Shaigan Ijaz, representing Numan, told newsmen that their point of view is that PCB Chairman Ehsan Mani is party in the case so he cannot appoint an adjudicator and detailed written reply will be filed in the case on May 17.
He said that its surprising that how a PCB-appointed adjucator cane be called independent adjudicator. He added Ehsan Mani is a party in the case and still he is appointing a person to hear his own case. “We are sticking to our point of view and will do whatever it takes to seek justice,” he added.However PCB legal adviser Tafazzal Rizvi stated that only PCB can appoint adjudicator and a written reply will be filed in the next hearing.
